"How to Lead Yourself"

 

In my motivational leadership seminars, I say “You can’t lead people until you lead yourself.”

 

That’s one of the reasons I wrote the book “How to Have a Great Day Every Day”. I think if you’re going to be a customer service provider or a leader, or somebody’s mother or father, or a co-worker, or a manager, you might want to have a great day every day.

 

I’m not sure how you can be great at those things if you’re not having a great day every day. What it comes down to is this: if you want to lead people, you’ve got to know how to lead yourself.

 

So, this week, let’s do that. Have a great week. Be the example of what it’s like to live with excellence, courage, tenacity, focus, and being organized.
