"Knock the Cover Off the Ball"

 

You see this? It's the cover of a baseball.

 

You've heard the expression many times, I'm sure: “knock the cover off the ball”.

 

What does that mean? It means if you're up to bat, hit a home run - hit a grand slam!

 

It’s an analogy for doing great at what you're going to do, whether it be a presentation, or you're going to work and doing something, or you're doing something difficult: knock the cover off the ball!

 

So, this week, knock the cover off the ball. That’s what it looks like.

 

You can do it! You can do it and you're gonna do it this week, right?
